How the Procedure Works...

The diVa laser system uses a single-use strengthened dilator with a quartz tip that expands and flattens vaginal tissue. The quartz tip remains immobile, ensuring a consistent treatment.

Practitioners use each strengthened quartz dilator just once. Because of this, there is minimal risk of cross-contamination and shortened downtime between treatments.

Once inserted, the diVa laser device rotates within the vaginal canal to ensure optimal coverage, encouraging healing, collagen production, and improved blood circulation to the entire area.

Before & Preparation

The treatment is performed in-office and requires no preparation.
When you arrive on the day of your appointment, your experienced practitioner will walk you through the process.

During the Procedure

You will be made comfortable on an examination table.
The practitioner will apply a topical numbing cream to your vaginal canal to improve overall comfort.
Once the numbing cream reaches full effect, the practitioner will remove the numbing cream and insert the diVa wand into the vagina.
The wand will be enclosed in a single-use quartz dilator that expands your vaginal wall.
The dilator stays in place during the treatment as the wand inside rotates, reducing discomfort and ensuring the laser pulses reach the tissue evenly.
The treatment is short, typically lasting just 3-5 minutes.
You may experience slight pressure or warmth during the treatment.
