Dr. Sheila Nazarian is a world-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She is a board-certified surgeon and founder of Nazarian Plastic Surgery, Spa 26 Medical Spa, The Skin Spot, and the Nazarian Institute. She was born to a Jewish family and moved to Iran during the Islamic Revolution. At the age of seven, she returned to the States. Growing up, she was inspired by her father, who is a medical doctor. She got into medical school, after which she matched into a combined plastic surgery residency at USC.
She is happily married to Dr. Fardad Mobin. He is a neurosurgeon. They have three children and a rescue dog.
With over ten years of experience as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Nazarian is lauded for her ability to offer patients the most advanced treatments they need to look their most healthy and rejuvenated in a natural and ethical way. She is the founder of Nazarian Plastic Surgery, Spa 26, and The Skin Spot, as well as a skincare product line called NazarianSkin. Dr. Nazarian also has a non-profit organization, The Nazarian Institute.
In June 2014, Dr. Nazarian became a clinical assistant professor of the Division of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery at the University of Southern California. She is now imparting the knowledge she has acquired and training the next generation of plastic and hand surgeons.
In November 2014, she became a board-certified plastic surgeon. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, she was ready to do what she knows to do best — help people achieve their dream looks.
In May 2015, she became a member of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. By July of the same year, she was a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
In March 2016, she joined the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. She served there as an External Marketing Committee member, Electronic Communications Committee member, and the Social Media Task Force.
Dr. Nazarian starred in an Emmy-nominated Netflix series called Skin Decision. She has also been featured in a plethora of TV shows — E-News, Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian, PragerU, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Doctors, Newsmax, Inside Edition, and The Real.
She got a BA in Economics with a medical concentration from Columbia University, New York from 1997-2001. She was admitted to study medicine at Yeshiva University’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Following this, she matched into a Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Southern California. She is also a Master's degree holder in Medical Management (MMM) at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
