Enhance Your Look with a CoolSculpting® in Beverly Hills

CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive procedure using freezing temperatures to reduce stubborn, unwanted pockets of fat on the body. This method of freezing fat cells is known as cryolipolysis. CoolSculpting, as an FDA-cleared cosmetic treatment, is recognized to pose fewer risks than other alternative fat-reducing treatments, such as liposuction.

CoolSculpting has shown proven success in removing fat cells in the body. While not meant to be a total weight loss replacement, it is highly effective in eliminating excess fat that struggles to diminish with regular diet and exercise. A successful CoolSculpting procedure and a healthy lifestyle can produce desirable results that will last for years.

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting utilizes cryolipolysis to freeze and eliminate excess fat in multiple body areas. Since fat cells are more affected by cold temperatures than other cells in the body, it does not damage the skin or any underlying tissue. CoolSculpting is non-invasive, so it does not have any downtime post-treatment.

CoolSculpting Benefits

CoolSculpting is highly effective in eliminating stubborn areas of fat in the body. Precisely 3-6 months after treatment is when the body removes the broken-down fat tissue. Once the fat cells vanish, they do not return, providing long-lasting results post-procedure.

What Results to Expect:

  • Unwanted Fat Removal
  • Long-Lasting, Natural Results
  • Ability To Treat Many Areas of The Body
  • Improved Self-Confidence

How Long Will Results Last?

CoolSculpting delivers permanent, natural-looking results. Since the adult body does not create new fat cells, fat cells enlarge and decrease as weight fluctuates. When fat cells are frozen and eliminated, they do not reappear or regrow. Meaning you can bask in your results for years post-treatment.

CoolSculpting Reviews

“This is an very friendly facility. Alexa Yontz is amazing and very knowledgable. I have done coolsculpting with her and I have seen great results. I also done some Pellevé treatment for my skin and I love it! Highly recommended!!”

“Dr. Nazarian is great. I only met with her briefly, as the work I needed was non-invasive. Having said that, this review is for Alexa. I have been to and consulted with many places in West LA for skin issues and body contouring. Alexa is an expert at cool sculpting. She corrected my abdomen after I received a cool sculpting elsewhere. She sat down with me several times and explained what happened and what needs to be done. She assured me that it was her mission for me to be pleased with my results. I felt heard and taken care of by Alexa. She is honest, professional, and competent, which reflects in the results she achieves for her clients. I am choosing to now have Alexa address my long-standing, acne issues. Trust me. I have done my fair share of research in this town and Alexa was a pleasant surprise. I feel no need to search any longer. I highly recommend Alexa for whatever issues you are struggling with!”

The CoolSculpting treatment is currently FDA-approved for nine areas of the body. This treatment is currently not available for all areas of the body. The patient should consult with the treatment provider to build a personalized plan to ensure they get the results that they want.

The CoolSculpting procedure freezes fat cells to remove stubborn fat. Fat cells do not respond well to the cold. When fat cells freeze, they die and are gradually removed from the body. This process happens naturally.

The length of time a CoolSculpting treatment takes may differ. This depends both on the desired area of treatment and the size of that area. Treatments can be completed in as little as 35 minutes but may take up to three hours.

The number of sessions recommended will be different for each patient. This figure is dependent on the patient’s needs and desired look. A single treatment can reduce stubborn fat by up to 25%. The provider will be able to help estimate the number of sessions the patient will need during the initial consultation.

Results are not immediate and may take at least three weeks to be seen. Changes are typically visible one to three months after treatment. Full results may take six months or more. Each individual will see results differently. Some patients will be able to see results faster than others.

Yes, it is possible to gain weight after a CoolSculpting treatment. This procedure is not a weight-loss treatment. Instead, it is used to eliminate stubborn fat that has not responded to a healthy diet and exercise. If patients do not keep up healthy habits, it is possible for them to gain weight. Weight gain will be even and will not occur only in the areas of treatment.

CoolSculpting is a cosmetic procedure that is not covered by insurance typically. Patients must check directly with their insurance providers to assess if the procedure is covered under their plan’s benefits. Many provider offices offer payment plans to help patients gradually pay off the cost of the procedure over time, instead of making them pay in full at the time of the procedure. Discuss payment options with your provider during your consultation to find the treatment method that is best for you.

The most important thing to do after CoolSculpting is to stay cool. Do not do any strenuous activity that may heighten your body temperature, meaning no vigorous exercise or heavy lifting.

Results will be noticeable between 1-3 months post-treatment. It can take up to 6 months for final results to show, as fat cells are removed slowly from the body.

Post-procedure, it is crucial to maintain a healthy lifestyle. CoolSculpting goes hand in hand with a healthy diet and exercise, as it is not a weight loss replacement. It is also important to massage the treated area to reduce swelling and drink plenty of water.

Multiple sessions may be required if there is more fat to eliminate or if you desire to treat a larger area. If there is only a small amount of stubborn fat on a smaller section of the body, one treatment may be enough. Typically patients need two treatments to see desired results.

CoolSculpting is overall a safe way to remove fat cells. Common side effects include pain or numbing of the treatment area, rash, bruising, and nausea. These tend to subside quickly post-procedure.

CoolSculpting can eliminate up to 25 percent of fat cells in each treatment area. It can also remove 5-8 liters of body fat, according to the CoolSculpting website. However, depending on the treatment area, multiple sessions may be required to achieve the patient's desired results.
