How the Procedure Works

The procedure is typically done as an outpatient and lasts about three hours.
Before & Preparation
- You may be asked to complete a medical examination or lab tests prior to the treatment.
- Your doctor will also recommend a baseline mammogram before (and after) surgery.
- You may be asked to adjust or stop taking certain medications such as aspirin and anti-inflammatory drugs to decrease the risk of excessive bleeding.
- Do not eat or drink after midnight the day of your procedure.
During the Procedure
- You will be placed under general anesthesia.
- Our team will determine the surgical technique personalized for your particular case before the surgery. Nazarian Plastic Surgery offers four techniques: Donut lift, Lollipop lift, Anchor lift, and BodyTite for a scarless minimal lift, but this decreases the cup size of breast tissue.
- The experienced practitioner will make an incision and tighten and remove excess tissue to uplift and reshape your breasts.
- Your provider will close the incision and apply dressings or bandages.
- A small drainage tube may be placed temporarily under your skin to remove excess fluid or blood.
