During the Procedure

• We will use tumescent local anesthesia to numb the treatment area and ensure utmost comfort throughout the procedure.
• Your surgeon will create 1-3 small needle pokes to insert the microcannula.
• Your surgeon will carefully move the microcannula around the treatment area to loosen fat cells and gently suction them away.
• Patients report feeling slight pressure or vibration during the procedure.
• The tiny incisions will heal independently without the need for sutures.
• If combining skin tightening with liposuction, your practitioner will follow the treatment with FaceTite, Renuvion, or Morpheus8 at the end of your treatment session.
• Your surgeon will also assess you to determine whether you might benefit from fat grafting in conjunction with your liposuction procedure.

• Patients will experience swelling and tightness around the neck, chin, and jawline.
• Your surgeon may prescribe medication to keep you comfortable for the first few days.
• You should be able to return to most of your daily activities within a day or two.
• You will have an elastic band to wear during the first week to minimize swelling and enhance the final contour.
• After the first week, we recommend wearing the elastic band at night for another week or two.
• Swelling should subside within 1-2 weeks.
