Hylenex Injection Procedure
Typically, patients don’t require a whole lot of Hylenex (hyaluronidase) or many injections to correct a filler problem. Patients usually require no numbing other than ice (although numbing cream is always available).
What are the risks?
As with any injection, bruising is always a risk. You can read the Pre & Post Instructions below for tips that can help you reduce the risk of bruising. Rarely, some swelling after hylenex can also occur for a few days but this resolves on its own or with icing.
Which fillers are reversible?
Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Belotero, and Prevelle Silk are reversible with Hylenex injections.
