How the Procedure Works

We will provide you with specific instructions before your procedure. Exceed Microneedling is an outpatient procedure and typically lasts 10-20 minutes.

Before & Preparation

Remove make-up before your procedure.
Your provider will apply a topical anesthetic cream to the treatment area.
Once the treatment area is numb, the provider will cleanse and dry your skin.
Your provider will use moisturizing cream to ensure smooth device movements over the treatment area.

During the Procedure

We will use the Exceed Microneedling device with sterile, tiny needles to gently glide across your skin.
Needles move back and forth as it moves across your skin.
You may experience bleeding and redness as this induces skin rejuvenation and triggers collagen growth.
Your provider will apply a serum and cooling mask to the treated area.

Aftercare & Recovery

After treatment, your skin may be red and inflamed for 1-2 days.
Avoid washing your face 8 hours after your procedure.
Avoid touching the treated skin.
Keep the skin clean by avoiding excess sweating and direct sunlight.
Avoid retinoid creams.
Use gentle cleansers recommended by your provider.
