Typically, patients don’t require a whole lot of Hylenex (hyaluronidase) or many injections to correct a filler problem. Patients usually require no numbing other than ice (although numbing cream is always available).

What are the risks?

As with any injection, bruising is always a risk. You can read the Pre & Post Instructions below for tips that can help you reduce the risk of bruising. Rarely, some swelling after hylenex can also occur for a few days but this resolves on its own or with icing.

Do Fillers Completely Dissolve?

If you are unhappy with the dermal lip fillers that you received, there may be an option to have them dissolved. While some fillers may dissolve overtime on their own, some may require intervention by a medical professional.
