Before & Preparation
- One week prior – Avoid blood-thinning medication such as aspirin and ibuprofen. Avoid certain supplements — primrose oil, garlic, Vitamin E, and St. John’s Wort. Refrain from smoking.
- A couple of days before – Avoid tweezing, waxing, or using hair removal creams on the treatment areas.
- 24 hours before – Do not drink alcohol.
During the Procedure
- Arrive at the appointment with a clean face.
- Your injector will numb the area with a local anesthetic. The filler contains trace amounts of lidocaine to help reduce discomfort throughout the treatment process. If you are sensitive to needles, you can pre numb the treatment area with Zensa before arriving at your appointment.
