Body Sculpting Procedure
The procedure is done under local anesthesia and it usually takes about 3 hours. Patients can return home the same day of their procedure. Fat is gently removed from the desired areas to unveil a smoother, more chiseled contour. This fat can be re-injected to enhance other areas like the face, hands, breast and buttocks. Body Sculpting can improve the neck, abdomen, arms, thighs, back and knees. The main goal is to improve the size and shape of a specific body area.
More than one area can be done at the same time depending on health status. Incisions are hidden in natural folds or stretch marks. During the procedure, the patient is awake and comfortable. After the procedure is finished, the incisions are closed and a surgical garment or binder is recommended to provide support. It is usually worn for about 3 weeks, which is how long full recovery will take. Most patients are able to go back to a desk job in 2-3 days.
